Sony starts rolling out Android Lollipop update to the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact

Sony has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact. At present the update is being rolled out in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Moreover, you can  expect other countries to get Lollipop update for the Z series smartphones in the coming weeks.

With the new update Sony will also push its new Theme designing app alongwith a Material design makeover alongwith improvements to battery-life. But the sad news in all this is that Sony has said that it will onyl be updating the Z series devices to Lollipop so even the latest Xperia E4 and the likes won't be blessed with Lollipop.
