Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 OTA update now rolling out
Sony has started updating the Xperia Z to Android 4.2.2, the OTA update has begun rolling out in Spain and Ukraine, while carriers in Austria, Czech Republic and the Netherlands have also approved the update and have begun rolling out to their customers. The firmware 10.3.A.0423 comes with a new kernel 3.4.0, performance enhancements and app updates.
We had already heard that the Sony Xperia ZL was getting its Android 4.2.2 Jellybean update, and so the Xperia Z couldn't be far behind. Although at present the update is for the LTE equipped Sony Xperia Z (C6603), it is expected to roll out to other regions soon.
