Sony Xperia X series to replace Z series of smarphones

Sony has just killed its Z series of smartphones, there won't be a Xperia Z6 this year. The confirmation was made by the German arm of the company and even at MWC 2016, while launching the Xperia X series of smartphones, Sony had said that it will be replacing the Z series in the US.

Its not much of a surprise given that the new X Series spans across various price points with varying specifications, you have the lower mid-range Xperia XA, then the Xperia X in the middle and finally the flagship Xperia X Performance.
