Sharp AQUOS R6 announced with 6.6-inch WUXGA+ 240Hz IGZO OLED display, Snapdragon 888 SoC, 12GB RAM, Leica camera
Sharp has introduced its latest flagship smartphone the AQUOS R6 in the 2021 summer lineup in Japan. It has the world’s first 6.6-inch WXGA+ IGZO OLED display with a 1Hz-240Hz adaptive refresh rate for both high energy-saving and a smooth user experience. It can also display HDR content with 1 billion colors with a high contrast of 20 million:1, and has the highest peak brightness of 2,000 nits (cd/m²) in the industry.
Sharp has a partnership with Leica to use the Summicron lens for the 20.2 MP with a 1″ sensor used in the smartphone. The phone is run on the latest Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform with Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max high-speed and high-precision fingerprint authentication, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support and it comes in Black and White colors.

The Sharp AQUOS R6 will be available from mid-June 2021 only in Japan through local operators NTT Docomo and Softbank. The Pricing will be announced when it goes officially launch.
