Google Play Editions of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 go on sale

The Google Play Editions of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 are now on sale, both the current flagships can now be ordered from the Google Play Store in the US. The pure Android Samsung Galaxy S4 has been priced at $649, while the HTC One has been priced a little less at $599. Shipping fees have been waived off, and the phones will be shipped on or before July 9.

Both the GS4 and HTC One, Google Play Editions are contract free and unlocked. While the Google Play HTC One comes with 32 GB of internal storage which is non expandable, the Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with 16 GB of memory which can be expanded using a microSD Card. So there you have it, an answer to all your Nexus 4 limitations (no LTE). But given the price difference, most will still stick to the Nexus 4.
