Samsung has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones in the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 at its Galaxy Unpacked event, as previously promised.
Multimodal AI and Enhanced Mobile Experiences -
The new lineup debuts multimodal AI agents designed to provide highly personalized and context-aware mobile interactions. Powered by the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the devices feature improved on-device processing capabilities for Galaxy AI and enhanced camera performance.
Smarter Interactions and Improved Productivity -
Running on One UI 7, the Galaxy S25 series aligns with Google’s vision for an AI-centric Android experience. The multimodal AI agents can process text, speech, images, and videos, enabling seamless and intuitive functionality. Enhanced Circle to Search capabilities offer one-tap actions for recognized phone numbers, emails, and URLs.
The devices support actionable searches with context-aware suggestions and effortless app switching for quick follow-up actions. Improved natural language understanding powers intuitive interactions, making tasks like finding photos or adjusting settings more straightforward.
Expanded Galaxy AI Tools -
The series introduces advanced AI tools for communication, productivity, and creativity. Features such as Call Transcript, Writing Assist, and Drawing Assist enhance usability and convenience. The Now Brief & Now Bar functions proactively, delivering suggestions based on analyzed data and accessible directly from the lock screen.
Additionally, Samsung is offering six months of Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud storage at no extra cost for all Galaxy S25 series devices.

Samsung underscores the importance of privacy alongside personalization in its Galaxy S25 series. The Personal Data Engine drives tailored AI features by processing user data directly on the device, secured by Knox Vault. To address emerging security challenges, the series incorporates post-quantum cryptography for robust protection.

The Galaxy S25 series boasts improved image processing capabilities with ProScaler and Samsung’s mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe), enhancing display power efficiency. Gamers benefit from advanced Vulkan Engine support and improved Ray Tracing for more immersive experiences.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a 40% larger vapor chamber compared to the S24 Ultra and a custom thermal interface material (TIM) for better heat management.
Camera upgrades include a new 50MP ultrawide sensor on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, replacing the 12MP sensor on the S24 Ultra. Standardized 10-bit HDR recording and improved low-light video performance, achieved through enhanced movement and time-based noise reduction analysis, are also highlights.
Advanced editing tools include Audio Eraser, Virtual Aperture for depth-of-field control, Galaxy Log for color grading, and updates to Portrait Studio and Filters.
