Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Surfaced Online with 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display, S Pen slot, new camera design
Samsung is working on its next flagship Galaxy S series smartphones, now we have the first CAD-based renders of the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra by leakster @OnLeaks. It shows a 6.8-inch curved display, which is similar to the S21 Ultra, but it expected a similar Quad HD+ Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate display. A major change in the design is the square design that looks like the Galaxy Note series. There is also a new P-shaped camera module with a significant camera bump.
It will come with a quad-camera setup that will likely include a telephoto lens and a 3D ToF sensor. It might be used a 108MP primary rear camera. The biggest change is the presence of the built-in S Pen slot for the first time in an S series phone, just like combining the Note and S series in a single phone. The S21 Ultra was the first Galaxy S series phone that support S Pen with Wacom tech, but the S Pen buy as a separate accessory with Samsung sold cases to hold the S Pen.
The dimensions of the phone are 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9~10.5mm (including the camera bump). According to the recent rumors, the phone will be run on the latest Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 898 processor depending on the market, and a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Another rumor revealed that the S22 series is expected to launch in India with Snapdragon SoC this time.
Since the Galaxy S22 Ultra renders are out, so we can expect more renders of the S22 and the S22 Plus in the coming days. We should know more details and full specifications of the phone in the coming weeks.
