Samsung Galaxy M47 5G Launching Soon in India with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, Android 16, and One UI 8
Samsung is gearing up to strengthen its mid-range smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G, which is expected to succeed last year’s Galaxy M36 5G. A teaser page on Amazon has already gone live, highlighting the familiar M-series slogan, “Next Level Monster.”
The upcoming smartphone was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification platform carrying the model number SM-M476B/DS, indicating that its official debut could be just around the corner.
Refreshed Design with Premium Styling
Samsung’s promotional material offers an early look at the Galaxy M47 5G’s design language, suggesting a more premium approach for the M-series lineup. The teaser showcases the device in a striking deep crimson/maroon color option.
The rear panel features a sophisticated matte finish, complemented by metallic red accents surrounding the camera module and along the frame edges. Samsung has opted for a modern boxy chassis with gently rounded corners, giving the smartphone a contemporary appearance.
A noticeable cutout on the right side hints at a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button for quick and secure unlocking.
