Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) spotted on GFXBench with better cameras

Samsung is already prepping the new Galaxy A series of smartphones for 2017. Both the Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) have now been spotted on GFXBench.

The Galaxy A7 (2017) according to the listing runs on an 1.8GHz octa-core processor with 5.5-inch full-HD display with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. However, it was still running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow instead of Nougat. The cameras also get a huge upgrade compared to last time, you now have a whopping 16MP front facing camera and a 16MP rear camera as well, while the 2016 A7 had 5MP/13MP cameras.

Coming to the Galaxy A3 (2017), it is expected to come with a smaller 4.7-inch HD (720x1280) pixels display running on an octa-core 1.5GHz processor. There's 2GB RAM onboard and 8GB of internal storage, which may change before launch. The cameras have been upgraded as well you get a 13MP rear and 8MP front facing camera this time around. Again the listing says that it runs Android Marshmallow out of the box.

Again at present there is no word on pricing or availability, but given that the Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A3 for 2017 are already under testing they may be unveiled soon. Last time the launch for the new series was done in February, this time around we expect it to be pushed a bit earlier.
