Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, and Galaxy A15 5G launched in India Starting From Rs.19,499 with 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display
Samsung has launched its latest mid-range smartphones the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A25 5G in India, as they promised. These phones sport a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and Infinity-U notch cutouts. The Galaxy A15 models boast a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of brightness, while the Galaxy A25 takes it a step further with a 120Hz panel and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
The Galaxy A15 5G runs on the Dimensity 6100+ SoC with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Galaxy A25 5G, equipped with the Exynos 1280 chip, offers configurations with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage capacity. In terms of storage expansion, similar to its counterparts, the A25 5G supports external storage up to 1TB.
Both the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G are equipped with the Knox Security platform, integrated at the chip level. This ensures users have complete control over their data, featuring functionalities such as Auto Blocker, Secure Folder, Privacy Dashboard, Samsung Passkey, and more.
Additionally, both models incorporate the Knox Vault chipset, creating a tamper-resistant environment for the most critical data on the user's device. Operating on One UI 6.0 based on Android 14, they offer support for up to 4 OS versions and a commendable 5 years of security updates.
The Galaxy A15 5G boasts a 50MP triple camera setup with VDIS, minimizing blur and distortion in videos caused by unsteady or shaky movements. On the other hand, the Galaxy A25 5G features a 50MP (OIS) triple camera setup with various AI-enabled photo-editing features. Both devices are powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support, and it's worth noting that the charger is sold separately.
