RedMagic 8S Pro launched Globally with 6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version SoC, up to 16GB RAM

Nubia has launched its new flagship gaming smartphones the RedMagic 8S Pro in Global Market, after the launch in China earlier this month. It has a 6.8-inch BOE OLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz multi-finger screen touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming + DC dimming, 1300 nits brightness, 93.7% screen-to-body ratio and has In-display fingerprint sensor with heart rate detection.

It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version with clocked speeds up to 3.36GHz, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM compared to up to 24GB RAM in the Chinese version, and up to 512GB storage UFS4.0 storage, and is based on Android 13 with Redmagic OS 8.0.

The phones are equipped with the ICE 12.0 magic cooling system, which includes a built-in fan, a full-through air duct, a 3D ice-level dual pump, and a super large VC liquid cooling system. Moreover, they incorporate graphene beneath the screen and utilize up to 10 layers of cooling materials. This comprehensive cooling setup results in a notable decrease in surface temperature, reducing it by 17° C throughout the entire device body.

It comes equipped with an integrated gaming chip called "Red Core R2," which enhances various gaming features such as shoulder keys, vibrations, game lighting effects, and sound effects. They also feature 520Hz touch sampling shoulder triggers, a 960Hz multi-finger screen touch sampling rate, an X-axis linear motor, and high-quality audio output with 1115K+1216 ultra-linear stereo speakers. Additionally, they incorporate Snapdragon Sound technology, enabling up to 96kHz output with an impressively low latency of 48ms.

It has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP 1/1.57-inch Samsung GN5 sensor along with an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP OmniVision under-screen front-facing camera. It is powered by a 6000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging for 100% charge in 40 minutes.

In terms of design, the Midnight and Platinum editions of the phones offer a more polished appearance, achieved through 3D nano etching that provides a sleek finish. On the other hand, the Aurora edition showcases the signature transparent look that is synonymous with REDMAGIC products.

The RedMagic 8S Pro comes in Midnight color with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and Platinum and Aurora colors with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, all of which come with built-in RGB lights.
