Realme has been building anticipation for its forthcoming flagship smartphone, the GT5 Pro, and has now officially disclosed details about the telephoto camera. The phone will incorporate a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor for its periscope telephoto camera, featuring an f/2.6 aperture, 3x optical zoom, and a combination of electronic and optical image stabilization. According to the company, this telephoto setup is the most costly in the industry.
Equipped with 4-in-1 multi-pixel fusion technology, the camera can capture an extensive amount of light, emphasizing details in low-light conditions. The realme GT5 Pro is touted to provide 6x lossless zoom and support up to 120x super zoom.
realme has also highlighted that the GT5 Pro will boast cutting-edge optical hardware, robust chip computing power, and advanced imaging algorithms, courtesy of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The company claims that the Computing Framework will result in a 10% reduction in image power consumption, a 44% increase in single-frame processing speed, and exceptional image quality across various scenarios.
