Realme 14 Pro Series Set to Launch in India Soon with World’s First Cold-sensitive Color-changing Back Panel
Realme is gearing up to unveil its realme 14 Pro Series in India soon, showcasing a first-of-its-kind cold-sensitive colour-changing back panel. Collaborating with renowned Scandinavian industrial design studio Valeur Designers, the company has achieved a significant design milestone.
World’s First Cold-sensitive Color-changing Phone -
The back panel of the realme 14 Pro Series features advanced thermochromic pigments that respond to temperature changes. When exposed to temperatures below 16°C, the back shifts from pearl white to vibrant blue and reverts as temperatures rise. This innovative temperature-responsive technology allows the smartphone's appearance to adapt dynamically to environmental conditions.
Distinctive Pearl-inspired Design -
Adding to its uniqueness, the realme 14 Pro Series introduces a "Unique Pearl Design." The Pearl White variant boasts a striking pearl-like texture, crafted using organic seashell powder. A slim, sub-8mm quad-curved profile and a shimmering pearl-like finish complement this design.
The series also incorporates a 30-step “fusion fiber” process, utilizing 95% eco-friendly bio-based materials to create a distinctive pattern. These design advancements provide a visually stunning device with a premium in-hand feel and a comfortable grip.
realme promises that this combination of innovative features and sustainable design ensures a smartphone that stands out for both aesthetics and functionality.
Ocean Oculus Triple Camera Setup -
The realme 14 Pro+ 5G, part of the Pro series, will debut with a flagship-grade quad-curved display, achieving an impressive 93.8% screen-to-body ratio. The rear of the device features a circular triple-camera array, dubbed the “Ocean Oculus,” complemented by a unique “MagicGlow” triple flash system, designed to capture true-to-life night portraits.
This series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and integrates AI-driven features like AI Ultra Clarity 2.0, advanced camera algorithms, and a periscope telephoto camera on the Pro+ model.
In terms of durability, the smartphones are equipped with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, offering resistance to dust, water immersion (up to 1.5 meters for an hour), and high-pressure water jets. Additionally, the series has secured TÜV Rheinland certification for its rugged design.
The realme 14 Pro Series is set to launch in January 2025, with more details about the official release date expected soon.
