Oppo Neo now official with 4.5-inch FWVGA display, dual-core processor for $215

The Oppo Neo from the Chinese manufacturer is now official. It features 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display running on a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor but there's no word on chipset make, RAM or internal memory. The Oppo Neo weighs 130 grams and is relatively thin at about 9.2 mm. It also has a special Gloves Mode using which the touchscreen can be used with gloves on.

There's a 5 MP camera on the back and a 2 MP shooter at the front. The Oppo Neo also features "Quick Reach" which allows for several actions of the phone to be controlled with gestures. It comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is enveloped in ColorOS skin from the company.

At present the Oppo Neo has been launched in Indonesia with a price tag of about $215. A dual-SIM variant is also in the works but there's no word on if or when Oppo will be bringing the Neo to more markets.
