OPPO Find X8 Appeared on Geekbench with Dimensity 9400 SoC, 16GB RAM, Android 15

MediaTek is preparing to launch its flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9400, in October as the successor to the Dimensity 9300. According to earlier reports, the vivo X200 series will be the first to feature the chip, followed by the OPPO Find X8 series.

Recently, the OPPO Find X8 with the Dimensity 9400 appeared in a Geekbench listing, revealing a single-core score of 2876 and a multi-core score of 8987. In comparison, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, found in the OnePlus 13, scored 3216 in single-core and 10051 in multi-core, showing higher performance.

The listing also confirmed 16GB of RAM and Android 15 for the OPPO device. Notably, the vivo X200, model number vivo V2419A, previously surfaced with benchmark scores of 1531 for single-core and 6168 for multi-core, making the Find X8's performance superior.

The Dimensity 9400 is expected to utilize TSMC’s second-generation N3 process, featuring 1 Cortex-X5 core clocked at 3.4GHz, 3 Cortex-X4 cores at 3.3GHz, and 4 Cortex-A720 cores at 2.4GHz. Earlier rumours suggested the chip would deliver 40% better performance than the Dimensity 9300, which offers 48 TOPS.

MediaTek’s CEO has indicated that the average selling price (ASP) of the Dimensity 9400 will be higher than its predecessor, with plans to actively expand into international markets.

Launch date? -

As for the launch, leaker Digital Chat Station suggests the Dimensity 9400 will debut on October 9, with the vivo X200 series following on October 14. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is expected to launch a week later, on October 21, with the Xiaomi 15 series likely to be unveiled shortly after.
