OPPO A5 and OPPO A5 Vitality Edition launched with up to 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings
OPPO has launched its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the OPPO A5 in China, succeeding last year’s OPPO A3. The device features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
Additionally, OPPO has also introduced the A5 Vitality Edition, featuring a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen, runs on Dimensity 6300 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 5640mAh battery. Both models come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certified for water resistance, and come with a 50MP primary rear camera with a 2MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP front camera.

Both OPPO A5 and OPPO A5 Vitality Edition are now available for pre-order in China and will officially go on sale starting March 21st. The OPPO A5 is set to launch in India as the OPPO F29, with slight modifications to its specifications.
