Opera Mini is coming to Windows Phone, beta sing-ups taken
Windows Phone users will soon be graced with Opera Mini Web browser, as the company has started its public beta testing for the new app. At present though, the public beta has been closed as the company has received enough registrations, but you can get notified about the final app version when it hits the Windows Phone store:
In a matter of hours, we received more than enough testers for the beta version of Opera Mini for Windows Phone. Those who were able to sign up early enough will receive further information, when the application is ready to download. If you would like to be notified when the final version is available in the Windows Phone Store, please sign up here.
Opera Mini browser was available for Windows Phone 7 way back in 2011 before Microsoft pulled the plug, but it seems the new found friendship between the two companies (Microsoft and Opera signed pack to make Opera Mini default on Nokia Asha and Series 40 phones) will lead to something fruitful on that front.
