OnePlus N6x launched in India starting at Rs. 18,999 with 6.8-inch 120Hz display, 7000mAh battery

OnePlus has officially launched its latest smartphone in the affordable N series lineup, the OnePlus N6x in India, as previously announced. The smartphone focuses on long-lasting battery life, durable construction, and software enhancements designed to deliver a reliable everyday user experience.

Battery and Charging Features

The standout feature of the OnePlus N6x is its massive 7,000mAh battery. According to the company, the device can deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge under typical usage conditions.

Official battery performance claims include:

• Up to 20.56 hours of video streaming
• Up to 133.56 hours of music playback
• Up to 25.04 hours of social media browsing
• Up to 759.13 hours of standby time

When the battery reaches just 1%, the Ultra Power Saving Mode can still provide up to 0.54 hours of voice calls, 7.59 hours of standby time, or 0.22 hours of navigation.

OnePlus states that the battery is designed to withstand up to 1,600 charging cycles while retaining more than 80% of its original capacity after six years of use. The battery protection system incorporates four safety layers to guard against overcharging, accidental drops, compression, and extreme temperature conditions.

The smartphone also supports bypass charging to minimize heat generation while gaming or charging, reverse wired charging for compatible accessories, and an adaptive Night Charging Mode for improved battery health.

Design, Display, and Build

The OnePlus N6x is available in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue color options. It features a vertically aligned camera module with rounded side edges for a comfortable grip.

Display and Audio

• Display: 120Hz refresh rate panel with built-in eye protection features.
• Audio: Large speaker system with an expanded acoustic chamber capable of delivering up to 300% volume output.

Durability

The device is certified with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability and has been tested against salt corrosion, sand and dust exposure, 25 consecutive drops onto marble surfaces, and extreme operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C.

Its ArmorShell design combines reinforced corners, internal airbag cushioning, strengthened glass, and a reinforced aluminum frame for improved protection. The phone also carries an IP64 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes.

Performance and Software

The OnePlus N6x is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor and runs OxygenOS 16.

For improved thermal management, the smartphone includes a 5,300mm² Vapor Chamber (VC) cooling system. The 4GB + 128GB variant has also received a 48-Month Fluency Certification, which is intended to ensure smoother long-term performance.

Camera Features

The OnePlus N6x offers a dual-camera setup backed by AI-powered software enhancements.

The OnePlus N6x will be available for purchase in India starting August 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Customers can buy the smartphone through OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience Stores, and other authorized offline retail partners.
