OnePlus 3T to feature Snapdragon 821, 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX398 camera priced around $479
OnePlus 3 is one of the best smartphones you can buy right now under Rs. 30000 (about $400) with a great display, powerful internals and support from developers. Now we are hearing that the company is working on an upgraded version, the OnePlus 3T, as it has come to be called.
There's been a new development on that front. According to a reliable leakster in China, the new OnePlus 3 refresh will come with a 16MP rear camera using Sony's IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture lens, same as the Oppo R9S. It would offer faster autofocus and better image quality.
The OnePlus 3T (A3010) will house the Snapdragon 821 with 6GB RAM and the same 64GB internal storage. Apparently, the design of the smartphone will remain unchanged and there is no word on whether the company is switching to LCD panels due to the shortage of AMOLED displays.

Again the OnePlus 3T is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box since they are already working on the update for OP3. Another report also mentioned that the 3T or OnePlus 3 Turbo variant will be priced $80 (Rs. 32000 or $479) more than the normal variant which is still a great price for a flagship smartphone.
