OnePlus 3T gets new OTA update with panic button, improved touch response, better camera quality

OnePlus India has started rolling out a new OTA update for the OnePlus 3T which brings in a lot of bug fixes and a few India-specific features. First is the addition of a panic button or emergency calling, which has been made mandatory by the Government of India. You can trigger the emergency call option from anywhere by triple pressing the power button.

Some notable changes have been made to the camera as well with motion detection for more stable shots along with improved image capture quality. The changelog is quite vague about what these enhancements are but any improvement is always welcome. The Touch panel firmware on the OnePlus 3T has also been updated for greater Touch precision and now you won't get lost that easily with the 3T being better at finding your location. The Clock app UI has also been re-designed along with the phone calling UI. Do tell us if you find something new with your 3T in the comments section.

The Oxygen_28_161122 update for the OnePlus 3T weighs in at just 71 MB and we would recommend downloading it over WiFi.
