Nokia X sells out in just 4 minutes in China

Nokia X, the company's first Android phone, is seeing a huge interest from folks over in China. First there were the 1 Million pre-orders, although they did not guarantee that people will be buying the handset. But this time around, JD.com confirms that it sold its entire first batch of the Nokia X in just 4 minutes. Although we don't know how many were actually sold. JD.com had an early buyer offer on the first 10,000 handsets sold, so its definitely more than that.

Its really interesting to see such level of interest from Nokia's Android device rather than its bread and butter Lumia Windows Phones. The next batch of Nokia X goes on sale on March 31st, lets see what happens then.

We also unboxed the Nokia X in India, the build is impressive but the software is a bit sluggish. You can watch the video here.
