Nokia X+, Nokia XL go on pre-order in Spain
Nokia had said that the X+ and the XL will be available in Q2 2014, but they are already available on pre-order in Spain. Amazon.es has listed the Nokia X+ and Nokia XL on pre-order for €119 and €129 including VAT. Although the delivery date is not mentioned, we expect it to be released soon. Color options are limited at the moment as the Nokia X+ is available only in green or black while the Nokia XL is available in green only.
The specs on both the Nokia X+ and XL are pretty limited as these are being touted as entry level models for emerging markets. Both feature a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 768 MB RAM, run on Android 4.1.2 forked by Nokia. The XL however has a larger 5-inch WVGA display while the Nokia X+ has a 4-inch display. The NOkia X+ has a 3MP fixed focus camera while the XL gets a 5 MP auto-focus camera alongwith a 2 MP front-facing camera. The unlocked price point mentioned above is the key here.
