Nokia X gets listed online for Rs. 8500 with March 15 availability

Indian retailer The Mobile Store let loose the availability and pricing of the Nokia X earlier today. The Nokia X Android smartphone is going to be launched on March 15th with an unconfirmed price tag of Rs. 8500.

It is Nokia's first Android smartphone with a 4-inch WVGA display, 1 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM running a forked version of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The Nokia X as we have said earlier, can run most android apps although it doesn't have access to the Google Play Store and most Google services have been replaced with Microsoft and Nokia alternatives.

Nokia also launched the X+ and XL Android powered smartphones however, they will be launched later in Q2 2014. The pricing of the Nokia X seems a bit higher than it was announced, however this might be the MRP and a lower MOP is expected.

Nokia X will be available in Black, Green, Cyan, Yellow, Red and White colors upon launch in March. You will get a charger, 1500 mAh battery, Stereo headset and a quick guide alongwith the Nokia X in the retail package.
