Moto M with rear fingerprint sensor, metal body launching soon in India

Moto India has just begun teasing the launch of a new smartphone and if you look deep enough you could see the silhouette of the recently announced Moto M. The metal clad smartphone is a huge departure for Moto, with a curved back and a rear fingerprint sensor, instead of front like the Moto G4 series.

The Moto M is one of the first smartphones running on the MediaTek Helio P15 octa-core SoC which brings in better performance and a slightly more powerful GPU. Rest of the specs are also similar to other mid-range smartphones including 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage which is expandable with the hybrid dual-SIM slot on the device. On the camera front, there's a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture lens, PDAF which could be using the same sensor as the Moto G4 Plus. Then there's an 8MP selfie camera as well and a 3050 mAh battery.
