Moto G GPE gets Android 4.4.4 KitKat update

Just after Google started rolling out Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for Nexus devices as well as Google Play Edition devices, the Moto G GPE has also received its taste of the new update. LG G Pad 8.3 GPE and Sony Xperia Z Ultra GPE have already received their share of the update. Android 4.4.4 KitKat addresses OpenSSL vulnerabilities and is an incremental update after the recent Android 4.4.3 KitKat update a few weeks back.

Moto G GPE is being directly updated from Android 4.4.2 KitKat (KOT49H) to Android 4.4.4 KitKat (KTU84) bypassing 4.4.3 update. The update is being rolled out Over-The-Air (OTA) and it will be a gradual roll-out, meaning all devices will not be updated in the initial stage.
