Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual-SIM with 5-inch HD display, 5 MP Front Camera launched in India for Rs. 10,199

Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual-SIM has arrived in India as promised. At its launch event Microsoft unveiled the new 5-inch display bearing Lumia 540 which sits in the current crop of Windows 10 upgradable Lumia devices including the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL.

Lumia 540 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS fully laminated display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with Adreno 302 GPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM expandable up to 128 GB, 3G Dual-SIM connectivity, 8 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras running Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update.

There's a 2200 mAh battery on the Lumia 540 Dual-SIM to keep the phone ticking. It will be available on May 18 throughout India for Rs. 10,199 in Cyan, Orange, White and Black colors.

All color variants are glossy and the back-cover has a solid layer of transparent plastic on top of the actual colored back-cover like the Asha 502 back in the day.
