ZUK Edge arrives on AnTuTu, spills Snapdragon 821 innards with 6GB RAM

Lenovo has already confirmed that they are working on another ZUK flagship for the year which is expected to be the ZUK Edge smartphone. The phone has already received it TENNA certification where it revealed some key specifications, but now the phone has made it to the AnTuTu database which paints a more comprehensive picture.

The Lenovo ZUK Edge (Z2151) will run on the Snapdragon 821 quad-core chip with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. You would get Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with ZUI on top as we have seen with the Z2 and Z2 Plus. The display resolution is still pegged at 1080p which is still enough for a 5.5-inch panel which again is supposed to be curved on both sides. Earlier we were told that there would be a 4GB RAM variant as well, which does beg the question if we are going to see two Edge variants.

On the cameras front, there's a 13MP rear unit and an 8MP front camera for your snaps. The fingerprint sensor will be embedded in the home button up front just like the Z2, with the major change in design being the curved display. Given that the ZUK Edge has already received its certification, the company may be planning for a launch real soon. We will keep a lookout for any news on the ZUK Edge, or its possible launch in India as well. Do stay tuned.
