iQOO Z9 Turbo+ launched with 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 9300+ SoC, 6400mAh battery
iQOO has launched its latest smartphone in the Z9 series, the Z9 Turbo+ in China, as previously announced. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K TCL C8 display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a local peak brightness of 4500 nits. It also includes a built-in Q1 gaming chip, supporting super-resolution and super-frame rates for various games.
Instead of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC used in the Z9 Turbo, the Z9 Turbo+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC and offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The phone is equipped with a 6043mm² canopy VC liquid cooling system and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera, supported by the NICE imaging algorithm.
With an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, the Z9 Turbo+ boasts a large 6400mAh single-cell battery, supporting 80W fast charging. iQOO claims that the phone can retain over 80% battery health even after four years of use or 1,600 charge cycles.
