Vivo V40e launched in India starting at Rs.28,999 with 6.77-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved AMOLED screen, Dimensity 7300 SoC, 50MP eye AF front camera
Vivo has launched its latest smartphone in the V40 series, the Vivo V40e in India, as promised. The device features a 6.77-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support, and includes a 50MP eye autofocus front camera housed within the notch.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with 8GB of RAM + 8GB of virtual RAM, up to 256 GB of storage and is based on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14. It is set to receive 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates. According to Vivo, the phone uses advanced heat dissipation materials along with 10 temperature sensors, reducing the core temperature by up to 7°C for stable performance.
On the back, it boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor, 2x portrait mode, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, along with Aura Light for Smart Color Temperature Adjustment. The phone also offers Ultra-Stable 4K Video with OIS + EIS, AI portrait mode, AI eraser, and AI Photo Enhancer. With a sleek design measuring 7.49mm thick and weighing 183g. It is powered by a large 5500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
