iQOO Z11 Turbo launched with 6.59-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 200MP camera, 7600mAh battery

iQOO has officially launched its latest smartphone in the Z11 series, the iQOO Z11 Turbo in China, as previously teased by the company.

Display -

The iQOO Z11 Turbo sports a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with a 2750 × 1260 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It uses TCL CSOT C9+ luminous material, delivering a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. The panel supports DC-like dimming along with 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, including full-brightness DC-like dimming as an optional mode.

Touch response is equally impressive, with a 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and 300Hz 10-finger sampling rate. The screen supports 1.07 billion colours and is protected by Schott Shield glass.

The phone also inherits iQOO’s self-developed “solar” display algorithm from the iQOO 15, enabling a local peak brightness of 5000 nits for clear outdoor visibility. It achieves a 90% first-frame brightness ratio, resulting in virtually no ghosting during scrolling. In addition, it features Eye Comfort 2.0, also borrowed from the iQOO 15, which includes a hardware-level 1-nit sleep screen, an AI sleep mode that reduces melatonin impact by 25%, a dry-eye-friendly colour temperature range that cuts eye fatigue by 28%, and hardware-level gaming eye protection that dynamically adjusts blue light in real time without affecting the gaming experience.

Performance -

The iQOO Z11 Turbo is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, paired with iQOO’s self-developed Q2 e-sports chip. It features the Monster Hyper-Core Engine, an e-sports signal enhancement chip, and Ice Dome VC liquid cooling. The phone uses LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and is said to achieve an AnTuTu score exceeding 3.59 million.

In open-world games, the device reportedly maintains an average 60fps with smooth performance, low frame variance of 0.56, and an average power consumption of just 4.54W.

The Ice Dome dual-mesh cooling system can reduce CPU core temperatures by up to 15°C under extreme workloads, while keeping the surface temperature difference between hot and cold areas within 1.8°C, ensuring more uniform heat dissipation.

For connectivity, the Z11 Turbo is equipped with 24 surround antennas for improved signal reception. The AI e-sports signal engine 2.0 can predict network congestion within milliseconds, while the Thunder Z1 signal enhancement chip helps maintain stable connections even when the signal has to pass through multiple walls.

Design and Build -

The iQOO Z11 Turbo is available in Floating Light, Halo Pink, Sky White, and Midnight Black colour options. The Midnight Black variant features a fiberglass back, while the other colours use glass backs. The phone has an aluminium alloy frame, and the rear camera module is inspired by a robot, retaining iQOO’s signature square-rounded porthole design.

It is rated IP68/IP69 for dust and water resistance, measures 74.42mm in width, weighs 202g, and is 7.9mm thick.

Camera -

On the imaging front, the iQOO Z11 Turbo is the first iQOO smartphone to feature a 200MP main camera with a large sensor, supporting up to 4× lossless zoom. It also introduces full-focal-length portrait mode for the first time, offering 50mm and 85mm options, along with full-focal-length Live Photos. The front camera has been upgraded to 32MP and supports 0.8× wide-angle selfies.

Battery and Charging -

The smartphone packs a massive 7600mAh ultra-thin “Blue Ocean” battery and uses second-generation semi-solid-state battery technology. According to the company, the battery maintains stable performance in extreme temperatures, from 40°C heat to -20°C cold.

It supports 100W fast charging and all-scenario direct drive power supply 2.0, allowing users to charge the phone while gaming without excessive heat buildup.
