iQOO 13 Detailed Specs Surfaced Online with 2K LTPO BOE X AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, IP68 ratings
iQOO is working on its upcoming flagship smartphone in the iQOO 13 series, succeeding last year's iQOO 12 series, which is anticipated to debut later this year, with leaked details courtesy of Digital Chat Station shedding light on the upcoming phone.
According to the leak, the iQOO 13 will feature a large flat screen manufactured by BOE, utilizing BOE's X-substrate technology, maintaining a 2K resolution, and supporting LTPO for variable refresh rates. The exact refresh rate, whether 144Hz or potentially 165Hz, has not been clarified. Expected specifications include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 SoC and features such as an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, a glass body, and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
Regarding its design, the leak suggests that the iQOO 13 will retain some classic elements, likely refining the design language seen in the iQOO 12. The phone is rumoured to boast a battery capacity exceeding 6000mAh, an upgrade from its predecessor's 5000mAh capacity. However, wireless charging capability is not expected.
The iQOO 13 is projected to be unveiled around November, following the official launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset anticipated in late October.
