iQOO 12 May Include a 50MP Main Camera Alongside 50MP Ultra-Wide and 64MP Telephoto Cameras

iQOO is preparing to unveil the next generation of their smartphones, the iQOO 12 series, later this year as a follow-up to the iQOO 11 series. Recent leaks have shed light on the camera specifications of the iQOO 12. According to information from the leaker Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 12 is set to feature a primary camera equipped with a 50MP OV50H sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Additionally, it will sport a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 64MP OV64B OIS telephoto camera with 3X± zoom capabilities. The leaker also disclosed details about the new 50MP OV50H sensor, emphasizing that its installation differs slightly. Consequently, the phone might be marketed based on its actual imaging sensor size, which is approximately 1/1.3". This configuration will position it in competition with other smartphones using the IMX966/IMX9xx sensors, which are expected to employ a 50MP± 1/1.4"± sensor, as per the leaker's information.

Previous rumors regarding the iQOO 12 test unit have suggested the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 16GB of RAM, storage options of 512GB or 1TB, rapid 100W charging, and a high-quality 2K 144Hz AMOLED display with high-frequency dimming.

As we move closer to the official release, more detailed information about the iQOO 12 is expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
