Huawei Honor 6 Plus Android 5.1 Lollipop update is rolling out in India

Just on schedule, Huawei has started rolling out Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the Huawei Honor 6 Plus. That makes it 3 devices which have received the new update, after Honor 6 and Honor 4C. Honor 4X is slated to get the update on October 20th.

Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 brings in some user interface refinements, new features and smoother animations. You also have lock-screen notifications, time-lapse photography and hideable apps.

Lollipop update for the Huawei 6 Plus is being sent over-the-air, just head over to settings -> software update to check for updates. Alternatively you can also download the 1.2GB Zip file from the Honor India support site to manually install the update, instructions are included within the file itself.
