HTC One M9 images and specs leak ahead of March 1 launch

With only a week left to the launch of the HTC One M9, a German retailer has let loose some images and specs of the upcoming HTC flagship. According to the images, the One M9 retains similar design to the One M8 but with the power button now on the right of the phone.

Coming to the specs of the HTC One M9, it will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB onboard storage expandable with a microSD card slot. The UltraPixel camera has now been moved to the front while the rear gets a brand new 20 MP camera that protrudes ever so slightly from the back.

Moreover, the One M9 will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 skin on top. There will be gold and silver accents available on new color variants apart from Gunmetal Grey. The BoomSound speakers too retain their position and signature design as does the 5-inch 1080p display.

The One M9 will be announced at HTC's March 1st event in Barcelona ahead of MWC.
