HTC Desire 700, 501 and 601 dual-SIM announced in Taiwan

HTC just announced the Desire 700, 501 and the 601 dual-SIM. All three differ in both design and specs, have a look:

HTC Desire 501

It has a 4.3-inch WVGA display and runs on a dual-core 1.15 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM. There's 8GB of internal storage with a micro SD expansion slot. In terms of cameras, the HTC Desire 501 has an 8 MP primary camera and 2.1 MP front camera with HTC ImageChip technology.

There's a 2,100 mAh battery which keeps things running, and this is a single SIM version, for dual-SIM capabilities you can look towards the very similar HTC Desire 500. It will cost NTD 9,900 or approx $330 in Taiwan.

HTC Desire 601 dual-SIM

The single SIM variant, Desire 601 is already available in the market, but this is the dual-SIM variant. It has a 4.5-inch qHD display, and runs on a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The camera here is 5 MP in resolution with 1080p recording capabilities. It has 1 GB RAM but half the storage of the 501 at just 4GB.

You do get BoomSound front speakers here. Its been priced at NTD 10,900 or approx $370 in Taiwan.

HTC Desire 700

Put simple, the Desire 700 is the poor man's HTC One. It has a 5-inch qHD display, which is larger than the HTC One but with lower resolution. Just like the One it comes with BoomSound front speakers. It is powered by a quad-core qualcomm chipset with 1 GB RAM. IN terms of imaging, it doesn't get the Ultrapixel camera but makes do with an 8 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and BSI sensor alongwith a 2.1 MP front facing camera also packing a BSI sensor.

The Desire 700 too is a dual-SIM device which uses micro SIM cards. It supports HSPA on SIM 1 and GSM/Edge support on SIM 2. Everything is kept running with the 2100 mAh Li-Po battery. It has been priced at NTD 13,900 or approx $470 in Taiwan.

At present there is no news on the worldwide availability or price outside of Taiwan.
