The company has been running a campaign with "SwagPhoneIsComing" hashtag, and if you were wondering, this is the phone everyone was talking about.
Just to refresh your memory, the metal-clad 6X comes with a 12MP + 2MP dual rear camera combination which allows it to manipulate aperture on the fly with natural-looking bokeh. It runs on the Kirin 655 SoC which packs four cores clocked at 2.1GHz and another 4 clocked at 1.7GHz. There will be two variants of the phone launched in India, one with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and another with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage. You can expand storage with microSD cards on both variants. Apart from that you also have a bright 5.5-inch FHD IPS display up front which is covered in 2.5D glass for protection and smoother touch response. Overall I am quite impressed with the build quality, cameras, and performance of the Honor 6X. It feels like a solid package but only pricing will determine if it's able to beat the Redmi Note 3 or the recently launched dual-camera smartphone, the Coolpad Cool 1.
