Gionee to launch M7 Power with 6-inch full-screen display, 5000 mAh battery on November 15

Gionee teased the Indian launch of their next smartphone M7 Power earlier this week. Now, the company has started sending invites for the launch event in India happening on November 15.

The Gionee M7 Power was released in China in September. The highlight of the device is its 6-inch HD+ 18:9 FullView display with 85% screen-to-body ratio. Gionee is known for embedding massive battery into their smartphones. They have done the same thing with M7 Power as well. It will hit the market with 5000 mAh battery, which the company claims to have intelligent power management and can provide up to 2 days of battery life.

The fingerprint scanner is on the back. You can use it to trigger the camera, access flashlight, and more. The high-grade 6-series aluminum back shell with lased-engraved finish adds a premium touch to the design of the device.

It packs the Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 4 GB RAM. The 64 GB internal memory can further be expanded up to 128 GB with a micro SD card.

The hybrid dual-SIM device runs on Amigo OS 5.0 on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Gionee hasn’t gone for dual rear camera setup here. Instead, M7 Power features a single 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture that supports phase-detect autofocus. The front-facing camera has an 8 MP sensor.

The Gionee M7 Power comes in Gold, Black, and Dark Blue color options. When Gionee M7 Power made its way to Thailand, they priced it at 9,990 Thai baht (US$ 299 / Rs. 19,590 approximately). However, the Indian pricing hasn’t been revealed yet.
