CMF Phone 1 will feature Super AMOLED Display, Dimensity 7300 5G SoC, up to 8GB of RAM; Confirmed Under Rs.20,000
Introduced last month, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor represents an upgrade from the Dimensity 7050 SoC. It maintains an 8-core architecture but utilizes a 4nm process from TSMC, enhancing efficiency significantly to reduce battery consumption and extend usage times.
Benchmark scores posted by the company on AnTuTu reached 673,000, surpassing those of the Snapdragon 782G, Dimensity 7050, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processors. CMF has also confirmed that the phone will offer configurations with up to 8GB of RAM, supplemented by up to 8GB of virtual RAM, alongside earlier rumours suggesting a variant with 6GB RAM.
A recent teardown video by Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything revealed the use of SK hynix memory modules in the CMF Phone 1, along with sensors like a digital compass for navigation and motion sensors for movement detection.
In a Day 3 video released today, TechnicalGuruji confirmed that the phone will be priced under Rs. 20,000. CMF had previously confirmed the presence of a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED screen with up to 2000 nits peak brightness and HDR10+ support.
With the CMF Phone 1, the company aims to democratize outstanding design and deliver an unparalleled user experience by focusing on essential product functionalities.
The CMF Phone 1 is scheduled to launch on July 8 and will be livestreamed at cmf.tech. Alongside the CMF Phone 1, the brand will also unveil the Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2.
