The Asus ZenWatch 3 looks a lot like the Moto 360, but with more buttons

The Asus Zenwatch 3 is getting through its certifications, and some of its images have leaked online. Although not much is known about the specs of the Android Wear smartwatch, but it is going to come with a round display.

Apart from the completely round display, the most curious thing are the three buttons on the right, something we haven't seen on any other smartwatch. You can also see the magnetic ring charger which connects to the back of the device.

Another image shows a leather band for the watch, and if we had to venture a guess there will be several offerings in different colors and materials from Asus. The ZenWatch 3 appears to be fairly thick and the bands do seem to have a proprietary attachment similar to the Samsung Gear S2.

The dual-tone metal design of the watch does look interesting though, and given that it is going under certification in several countries is a sign that Asus is planning to launch it soon. We would like to see it run Android Wear 2.0 out of the box, which is definitely a possibility. Meaning we may see the ZenWatch 3 land sometime later in October.
