Apple launches the 8 GB iPhone 5C in India for Rs. 37500

Apple has launched the 8GB version of the iPhone 5C in India with a price tag of Rs. 37,500. Now, you might think that Apple has gone crazy with the pricing of a last-gen phone with even less storage, but come to think of it the 16 GB iPhone 5C wasn't priced that adequately either at about Rs. 41,500. There will be very little onboard storage left after you install a few large retina-ready apps and add some music on the phone, so you would have to be very stingy with what you keep. If you were still wondering, there is no microSD card slot for adding more storage.

But you do get a launch discount of Rs. 3000 on the 8 GB iPhone 5C alongwith a free case worth Rs. 2300. But at this price you can get any of the last year flagships and save some for accessories including the Galaxy S4, Nokia Lumia 1520, LG G2, HTC One M7 and the likes.
