Windows Phone File Manager coming in June
Windows Phone has yet to get a native File Manager, but Joe Belfiore Windows Phone chief said in a recent AMA on Reddit that it was coming soon with a few screenshots as well. It was said that the File Manager would be available in May, but now we are hearing a June release date.
The cause of the delay is still unknown and its rather strange that Microsoft didn't bundle the File Manager with Windows Phone 8.1 itself. We also know that the File Manager for Windows Phone 8.1 will be called "Files" and available in the Windows Phone Store come June.
The "Files" manager will include basic functionality like moving, copying files alongwith sharing options, although its currently now known whether OneDrive will be integrated into it.
