Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5 appear in new live photos, show UI changes
Android's next major release, KitKat 4.4 has a few things under its sleeve which we still not know about but that doesn't stop us from snooping in. Some new leaked images of the Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 KitKat. The images reveal a transparent status bar with white notification icons. However, the most revealing image is the settings menu which shows a new option "Tap & Pay" alongwith new location settings which has a high accuracy mode which will use your phones GPS sensor alongwith mobile networks and Wi-Fi.
You can also see a camera icon on the lower right corner of the lockscreen, while the swipe gesture on the lockscreen still works to bring the camera interface up. The new app drawer is quite different, first its transparent and gone is the separate widgets tab alongwith a few new apps. It seems the Gallery app has been replaced by Google Photos.
The Nexus 5 is expected to be announced along with Android 4.4 KitKat something by the end of this month.
