Amazon Game Controller for Android devices spotted online

Amazon has been prepping its Android gaming console for quite some time according to industry insiders and this just might be the first glimpse at its controller. The Amazon branded game controller you see above was spotted at Brazil's certification site. It clearly has a similar layout to other gamepad's made for Android devices including back, home and menu keys just below the Amazon logo.

There are media controls on the gamepad as well. You can also see that the amazon game controller is wireless possibly bluetooth, has two analog sticks, a D-Pad alongwith a four-button layout very similar to console game controllers. There are some lights in the front, possibly to show connection status of the controller alongwith what looks like a web browser button. Shoulder triggers are also present.

The listing is in the name of Amazon Fulfillment Services Inc. so there's a chance this are true images. Now, there's the question whether this is for Amazon's Android gaming console, the company's own Fire tablets or for a generic gamepad for any Android device.
