Amazon Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 (4th Gen) launched in India Starting at Rs. 23,999 with Omnisense sensors, Wi-Fi 6E, 13MP camera
Amazon has launched its new Echo Show 11 and the fourth-generation Echo Show 8 smart displays with Alexa in India. Both devices come equipped with Amazon’s Omnisense sensor platform, an upgraded audio architecture, and a refreshed design featuring edge-to-edge glass with slim bezels.
The Echo Show 11 sports an 11-inch Full HD display, while the Echo Show 8 (4th Gen) features an 8.7-inch HD screen. Both models are fitted with a 13MP camera that supports auto-framing and noise reduction for improved video calling. They also enable automated smart home routines using motion, presence, and temperature sensing.
Under the hood, the devices are powered by Amazon’s AZ3 Pro processor with an AI accelerator. They feature front-firing stereo speakers paired with a custom woofer to deliver spatial audio. Users can manage compatible smart home devices, stream content from Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube, listen to music and podcasts, and monitor up to four live camera feeds using the ‘Drop In’ feature.
In terms of connectivity, both models support Wi-Fi 6E and include a built-in Smart Home Hub with support for Zigbee, Matter, and Thread Border Router. Amazon has also included multiple privacy controls, such as a microphone off button, a camera off toggle, and options to review and delete voice recordings.
