YU Televentures had a huge hit with the Yureka and while everyone was waiting for a high-end device from the company, they instead went for a budget offering. The YU Yuphoria is the company's focus on design with metal sides, glass front and plastic back. The rear of the phone does remind me of the Lumia 830 but that's where the similarities end. The YU Yuphoria runs Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android Lollipop but the device is not without its more-than-fair share of bugs. The proximity sensor behaves erratically during calls, audio output from the headphone jack isn't great and the rear camera has issues focusing and maintaining proper color saturation levels, low-light imaging too is quite poor. But it has good build quality, a good front camera and good battery-life as well. If the Redmi 2 would be available with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, with its better cameras and display, that would be the way to go, since its not, you can consider the Yuphoria as an option.
