ZTE ZMax Pro is a $99 smartphone with 6-inch 1080p display, octa-core Snapdragon 617
ZTE ZMax Pro has just gone official as an exclusive for MetroPCS in the US priced at just $99 running on an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with a massive 6-inch 1080p IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
With the ZMax Pro, ZTE is re-defining what a budget smartphone should be albeit with a very large display. Apart from the mid-range chip from Qualcomm, you have 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage which is expandable with a microSD card. More importantly though you have Android 6.0 Marshmallow running on the device.
On the camera front you have a 13MP rear unit with LED flash and a 5MP front-camera for selfies. You also have a fingerprint sensor at the back. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type-C port with Quick Charge 3.0 for the 3400 mAh battery.
The ZTE ZMax Pro will be ships in the US starting August 1st, you can pre-register for it from MetroPCS. It would be available in blue color only.
