Here's another Bezel-less display smartphone, the ZTE Nubia 11
ZTE yesterday announced the Nubia 11, a striking smartphone with a bezel-less 5.5-inch display and high-end specs.
The ZTE Nubia 11 has a 5.5-inch 1080p edge-to-edge bezel-less display which gives it a brilliant 81% screen-to-body ratio. There's 2.5D curved glass Gorilla Glass 3 on the top which adds to the infinite display motif.
Under the hood is an all high-end affair. You have the Snapdragon 820 taking care of everyday tasks with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB storage with microSD card hybrid SIM slot to expand storage. ZTE is using a 16MP rear camera on the nubia 11 with Sony IMX298 sensor, OIS, PDAF and f/2.0 aperture, this is the same camera found on the OnePlus 3. It runs Android Marshmallow based nubia UI 4.0.
In the front you have an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture lens with an 80-degree wide field of view. ZTE has made the phone quite thin as well at just 7.5mm packing a 3000 mAH battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0. Even with that massive display, relatively large batter, the weight is just around 162 grams.
Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C port for data-syncing/charging, NFC and fingerprint sensor. Then there's a dedicated AK4376 audio chip, SmartPA amplifier, Dolby Atmos for better audio both through the speaker as well as the 3.5mm audio jack.
Pricing and Availability
The ZTE Nubia 11 will come in gold, silver and gray colors starting at CNY 2499 (about Rs. 25500) for 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage, while the 6GB RAM variant comes in a special Coffee gold color priced at 3499 Yuan (about Rs. 35,700.) There will also be a Christiano Ronaldo signed limited edition nubia 11 available in Obsidian Gold, but there's no word on its pricing.
