YU Yutopia launch set for December 7th
YU Televentures is all set to launch its first flagship smartphone in India. The company has begun sending out invited for the launch of the much hyped Yutopia smartphone on December 7th.
Although details are sketchy at the moment, but the Yu Yutopia is expected to come with a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display running on the Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM which brings it pretty much up-to-spec with the OnePlus 2.

The Yu Yutopia is also expected to come with 32GB onboard storage running Android 5.1.1 lollipop. Coming to its cameras, we have been hearing constantly that it will feature a 21MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera, with the rear camera capable of recording 4K videos. 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, MicroSD card support is also given
If we talk about pricing, Yu Televentures has been taking potshots at the OnePlus 2 in its teasers, which does say that the smartphone will be priced below Rs. 30,000. This would make it one of the cheapest flagship smartphones with a Quad-HD display. But at present even the LG G4 is retailing near about that price with proven cameras and Marshmallow update rolling out. The road is steep, competition fierce, but if priced competitively, Yutopia might just do what the OnePlus 2 failed at.
