YU Yunique Plus listed online, would now come with 2GB RAM priced at Rs. 6499
After the Yureka S, the company is also launching a budget smartphone the Yu Yunique Plus soon with 2GB RAM.
The Yunique Plus has been listed on the company's website and the only difference is now the new version has 2GB RAM. There's still 8GB expandable storage here, and dated Android 5.1 build.
The display remains the same at 4.7-inches with 720p resolution, you get the same 8MP/2MP cameras and a measly 2000 mAh battery. There's no reason to go for the Yu Yunique or for that matter any smartphone the company has to offer after their horrible service record and string of issues with each and every smartphone.
YU Yunique Plus Key Specifications
- 4.7 inches HD IPS Display (720 x 1280 pixels, 312 ppi)
- Gorilla Glass 3 Protection
- Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53, Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 Processor
- Android 5.1 (Lollipop)
- 2GB RAM, 8GB Expandable Storage
- 8 MP primary camera with LED flash
- 2 MP front facing camera
- 4G LTE, Dual SIM, GPS, Wi-Fi, FM Radio
- 2000mAh Battery
Considering the price of Rs. 6499, the Yu Yunique Plus for lack of a better better has nothing unique to offer and you would be better off with the Redmi 3S. It would be going on sale soon, possibly through offline stores where it would be easier to peddle.
