    YU is launching a new smartphone on September 8th

    Micromax's YU Televentures is set to launch a new smartphone on September 8th. media invites have already started rolling out for what YU says is going to be the "Next Wonder."

    YU Televentures' co-founder and CEO Rahul Sharma had a chat with Kunal Bahl from Snapdeal on Twitter which suggests that the new YU smartphone may be a Snapdeal exclusive.

    The company has received good response for both the Yureka and the Yuphoria smartphones. Although the YU Fit band hasn't been that positively received. According to some import listings we might see a 10,000 mAh powerbank launch at the event as well.
